| Rant entry for 6/24/2002 --- I have HIV and my teeth are falling out, no one cares! |

I am on ODSP (ontario Disabilty Support Program) and they cover 400 dollars in dental work. I am HIV positive and have many bad teeth as I have not been on disability for long. My dental bill is 2500 dollars yet disability had said they were not going to pay this even after I explained the isk of HIV transmision to the public and risk of infections from my open wounds to my immune system. I have to call the health board and make a scene, they contacted Disability and worked it all out. Unfortunately it took me a few months of major suffering before I found the right people who could help! But tommorow I go to get them all done, thanks to the Ontario Health Bord! |
