| Alternative Java Clients to Our HIV/AIDS Main Lobby |

I have made a couple alternative JAVA HIV Chat pages to try HERE (the best), HERE, HERE, or HERE. These rooms do not have the same features as the main pages. You will not: hear sounds, see images, see avatars and you will not see colored text. These extra chat pages are only to be used if you cannot find other means. They should work with WebTV, Macintosh Computers and most Video Game Systems (Sega Dreamcast, Game Cube, Xbox Sony Playstation, etc) |

If you are having trouble loading the HIV/AIDS Java Chat
Rooms using Internet Explorer versions 5.x with a Mac, or if you see a small
box (100x100 pixels) in place of the chat room, it may be due to problems
associated with the Mac Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
Mac JVM has known issues interpreting the specified size of a chat room. It may interpret "width=100%" to mean "width=100 pixels." As a result, the chat room will load up as a small box on your screen. The solution is to install version 2.2 or higher of the Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ). You can find the free download at: |
Please retry the chat rooms for HIV and AIDS HERE after your update. These chat rooms have many more features om 13km.com. The chats on this page are emergency routes and very basic formats.
